ATLAS: Coming Soon!

ATLAS will be a new database for STACK questions. It will enable educators to find, share, and manage individual STACK questions, providing the essential infrastructure for creating and refining quality-assured questions as a community.

ATLAS: Quality-Assured from the Get-Go!

ATLAS launches pre-loaded with community-vetted, quality-assured STACK questions from established OER projects and collections.

STACK.nrw: The Project Behind ATLAS

The STACK.nrw project is a collaborative initiative by Ruhr University Bochum (Dr. Michael Kallweit), Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Dr. Jörg Horst), and Cologne University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Dr. Angela Schmitz). Its primary goal is the development and establishment of the ATLAS platform. To achieve this, the project focuses on understanding the needs of educators, evaluating and developing necessary technologies, providing a foundational set of quality-assured STACK questions, and fostering a network to ensure ATLAS becomes a community-driven resource.

STACK Questions: How to Get Started

System for Teaching and Assessment using a Computer algebra Kernel (STACK) is an open-source assessment system for creating interactive, auto-graded questions in mathematics and related subjects. STACK questions stand out through their unique features — they can be randomized, automatically evaluated, provide individualized feedback based on student responses, and include graphical elements such as JSXGraph. To get started with STACK and create your own questions, explore the community’s documentation, tutorials, and example repositories.
